AblateCare
Privacy Policy
Effective June 28, 2026
AblateCare is a clinician-supervised post-ablation follow-up platform. This policy explains how AblateCare uses and discloses information, including activity and wearable data patients choose to share.
Information We Collect
AblateCare collects account information, care-team access information, patient check-ins, messages, clinical workflow records, and information patients choose to share from connected devices or uploads.
Wearable and device information may include heart rate, resting heart rate, HRV or stress-related measurements when available, pulse oximetry, sleep, activity, step counts, exercise context, device metadata, sync status, and rhythm artifacts or ECG exports when supported by the device or manually uploaded by the patient.
How We Use Information
AblateCare uses patient and wearable information to support clinician-supervised post-ablation follow-up, care-team review, patient communication, remote monitoring workflow documentation, access control, security, auditability, and product operations.
Wearable data is clinical context for review by authorized care-team users. AblateCare does not use wearable data as an autonomous diagnosis engine and does not replace clinician judgment.
How Information Is Shared
Information is shared with authorized providers, administrators, and care-team users who need access for patient follow-up and operational support.
AblateCare may use trusted infrastructure providers for hosting, authentication, storage, security, and system operations. These providers are used to operate the service and are not permitted to use patient information for unrelated purposes.
AblateCare does not sell patient wearable data.
Patient Choices
Patients choose whether to connect a wearable source or upload device exports. Patients may disconnect or revoke authorization through the device provider account, the connected device workflow, or by contacting AblateCare support.
Disconnecting a wearable source stops future imports where technically supported. Previously imported records may remain in the clinical record or audit trail where retention is required for care, compliance, or security purposes.
Patients may initiate account deletion from the AblateCare iPhone app or contact support. AblateCare will verify the request and delete or de-identify information that is not subject to clinical, legal, regulatory, security, or audit retention requirements.
Security And Retention
AblateCare uses authenticated access controls, role-based authorization, protected APIs, and cloud infrastructure controls to safeguard information.
Records are retained as needed for clinical workflow, auditability, legal, regulatory, security, and operational purposes.
